I had backed a uhaul trunk too far and threw the garage doors off track..was afraid I had did structural damage to the house..Nick came over the next day and fixed both doors for 80 dollars..no structural damage to the house..oh happy day…

I have used Garage Door Excellence twice in the last 3 years. I feel really comfortable with Nic and he does a great job at a fair price. I tend to ask a lot of questions and he is patient with good explanations. I feel he is extremely honest and has never pushed “extra” services or products. Fast, professional and knowledgeable. This guy is great. He installed our garage door and was priced extremely competitively. We had a small problem about a month after installation which caused the door to not open. This occurred on a Sunday afternoon and Nic was back out early Monday morning to fix.

I talked to Nic today and described my problem. He quickly assessed the situation and, while he could have charged me for a service call, instead he told me I could easily fix the door opener myself. He then told me exactly what to do, waited on the phone while I followed his directions and….he was right….the problem was resolved!

Our door wasn’t lifting and we had no idea what the problem was. We thought our motor was dying so were in a bit of a panic. Based on the email, Nic figured out that our springs were broken, came by and quickly fixed it and didn’t try to up-sell us on other services despite our questions (he was very frank and honest about what we needed). That was much appreciated and why we’ll go back to him!

True to their name, I cannot recommend Nic highly enough. Not only was he attentive, thorough and efficient, but he easily beat the time and price of Precision. Precision couldn’t even get my car out of the garage and told me it would be 6 days until they could. Took Nic 10 minutes. Same door Precision quoted me as taking a week was installed the next morning by Nic for 20% less. Great work!
Called Nic after seeing the positive reviews and was very satisfied with his work, professionalism and price. I had a complete garage door replacement done by Nic at Garage Door Excellence. The price was right, and we got a great looking garage door, tracks, rollers etc. It took about half a day and the new door completely changes the look of the house. Excellent! Nic did a great job on a couple of complex projects. One commercial unit he swapped out for residential was very high up and he was able to get it all done very quickly and efficiently. I had several other companies look at that one and they never followed up or returned my calls. Definitely recommend.
